Job Description:

Join a bustling surgical unit as a MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse, where you'll be the vital link coordinating care for patients with complex diagnoses. In this role, you'll handle a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, managing diverse needs from long-term care to orthopedic overflow, including post-surgical patients. Your day will be filled with charting in EPIC, administering blood products, managing central lines, and providing critical care for patients with pacemakers, tracheostomies, and various respiratory devices. Since this unit often faces high patient volume, swift decision-making and adaptability are key. Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: 12-hour days, 07:00 - 19:00
Duration: 13 weeks with the possibility of extension
