Job Description:

This contract position as a PCU Registered Nurse offers an engaging opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac unit, where expertise in cardiac procedures, telemetry, and patient monitoring is essential. You will be responsible for managing patients requiring complex care, drawing ABGs, interpreting EKG strips, and performing cardiac procedures such as catheterizations and ablations. The role involves team nursing or primary nursing models, with an emphasis on collaborative patient care. Experience with EPIC, PAPR, and a solid background in SD/PCU units is required to ensure a smooth transition into this fast-paced environment. Be prepared to float to different units as needed, including high-risk respiratory and COVID support, while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. The shift is 12-hour days, providing a balanced schedule for focused patient care and professional growth.
