Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in the MedSurg/Pediatrics unit of a hospital located in Carroll, Iowa. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing care for a diverse patient population including those with CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, and patients recovering from various surgeries such as knee, hip, shoulder, and colon procedures. Nurses in this role are integral to managing Heparin drips and other titratable medications, with the opportunity to develop skills in telemetry monitoring and cross-training for behavioral health or emergency care. The environment promotes a positive work culture, with the chance to engage in quality improvement projects and contribute to patient safety and workflow efficiencies. Experience with pediatric patients, including RSV cases, and a minimum of three years of MedSurg/Peds experience plus one year of travel experience are required. This assignment offers a competitive weekly gross of approximately $1,923, reflecting the commitment of 36 hours per week.
