Job Description:

Join a high-energy cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week night shift contract. This role offers an exciting chance to work in a busy, specialized cardiac and stroke care environment, primarily managing stable post-procedure patients, those receiving cardiac drips, or with diagnoses like unstable angina, CHF, and dysrhythmias. The assignment involves quick patient turnovers—up to 90 patients a week—requiring adaptability and confidence with telemetry, IV starts, and titrating medications such as Cardizem. You'll be working weekends (Friday to Sunday) with 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. This is a fast-paced, challenging unit with support from a team lead to assist with admissions and discharges. RTO requests are limited to 7 days, and on-call requirements depend on patient census. This role is perfect for experienced cardiac RN travelers comfortable handling a surge of up to 6 patients, with the ability to work independently in a busy environment.
