In pre-pandemic times, we called this time of year “awards season”.

It seemed like every healthcare traveler’s Facebook group and a few adjacent staffing organizations had a Top Ten or Top Twenty list that would come and celebrate the best in the industry. But times have changed. Some of those facebook groups changed hands, some disappeared entirely. And Today, only one list stands after everything that’s happened in the industry, and for good reason. That one is BluePipes.

BluePipes remains because they adapted with the times. They provide a value to healthcare travelers beyond just a job board or a facebook group. They’ve been around longer than Atlas has existed, and over those years Kyle and his team have shifted and evolved, but at the same time remained a constant by offering ease of use and clear answers for travelers. Through it all, he’s maintained one of the most legitimate and highly respected annual lists of the best travel healthcare staffing companies.

With all that being said, we’re incredibly honored to again be named one of the Top 20 Travel Healthcare Companies by BluePipes! What makes this recognition different is who decides it.

This recognition carries even more meaning when you look at the history. Since BluePipes launched its annual Top 20 rankings in 2017, Atlas has earned a spot on the list in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and now again in 2026. Along the way, we reached the number one ranking in 2023. We missed the list the past two years during one of the toughest stretches our industry has ever faced, which makes this year’s return that much more rewarding. More than anything, it’s a reminder that when you continue to put travelers first, they’ll remember. And when they take the time to share their experiences, recognition like this follows.

Companies can’t buy their way onto the list. They can’t campaign for votes. They can’t influence the outcome. It’s the voice of the traveling healthcare community that determines where every agency lands. The rankings each year are built from hundreds of reviews collected across multiple independent review platforms. And THAT makes this one especially meaningful to us.

The last couple of years have been a roller coaster for everyone in our industry. We’ve all faced challenges; fewer jobs, lower rates, and a much tougher market than the one many of us anticipated. Through all of it, our team at Atlas MedStaff kept showing up for our travelers. We kept answering late night calls, celebrating new adventures, solving problems, and doing everything they could to make sure the people who trust Atlas felt supported.

Seeing that effort reflected in the voices of our travelers means more than I can put into words.

To every traveler who has worked with Atlas, shared your experience, left a review, done a video, recommended us to a friend, or simply trusted us with your career, thank you. You are the reason we’re here. Words cannot express my gratitude.  

I’m also incredibly proud of our recruiters, client managers, compliance specialists, payroll team, finance team, brand team, IT and Tech team, and everyone else behind the scenes. Awards like this don’t happen because of one person. They happen because hundreds of small moments of doing the right thing add up over time.
