Job Description:

This 13-week contract in Wausau, WI, is designed for experienced registered nurses ready to take on a fast-paced, high-acuity stepdown/intermediate care unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly. Expect to float across inpatient units as needed, primarily covering med-surg intermediate care with heavy tele, vent, and trach responsibilities. The role offers opportunities to handle complex cases including sepsis, trauma, TBI, and stroke, making it an engaging challenge for resilient nurses comfortable managing change.
