Job Description:

This assignment is perfect for a registered nurse looking to sharpen palliative care skills while gaining experience in a med-surg setting. You'll work in the 11th floor Palliative Care unit, providing symptom management such as pain relief, nausea control, and fatigue reduction for patients undergoing ongoing treatments. The role involves floating to other high-acuity med-surg units, offering a varied and engaging workday. The schedule features 12-hour rotating shifts, primarily D/N (day/night), with the possibility of switching based on staffing needs. Previous travel experience and Epic EMR familiarity are preferred, and current BLS certification is required.
