Job Description:

This CVICU travel assignment in Prescott, Arizona, offers a compelling opportunity for ICU nurses seeking a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. You will be responsible for providing advanced critical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including AMI, CAD, and PVD. The role requires proficiency with managing patients on Vents, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment, alongside skills like IABP, CRRT, and handling fresh OHS from the OR. Clinicians must pass a dysrhythmia exam before signing and have at least two years of CVICU experience. Expect to work alongside in-house intensivists and charge nurses, with a floating component across departments based on staffing needs. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 according to acuity. This assignment also involves participating in weekend rotations, holiday staffing, and some on-call duties, making it ideal for dedicated critical care professionals tracking their career growth in high-stakes environments.
