Job Description:

Join our team as a specialized ultrasound technologist in Weirton, West Virginia, and experience a role that combines technical expertise with the variety of imaging studies you'll perform daily. You’ll conduct general ultrasound examinations, OB scans, small parts, and vascular ultrasounds of the upper and lower limbs. The department, equipped with Siemens S2000 machines and a busy schedule averaging 35 scans per day, offers a fast-paced environment where multitasking and adaptability are key. This assignment features 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule, providing ample opportunity to explore the local area during your free time. The role also involves adhering to specific certification requirements, including BLS, WV license, and ARDMS or RVT credentials, along with the ability to start IVs. The department is supported by an in-house radiologist until 5 pm, with evening coverage by Vrad. You'll be expected to be flexible with shift coverage, including weekends and holidays if needed, and will receive a departmental orientation consisting of five shifts with a preceptor. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role suited for ultrasound professionals ready to bring their clinical skills into a rewarding and supportive setting.
