Job Description:

Join a renowned tertiary care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Kansas City, Missouri. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing care for high-acuity orthopedic and trauma patients, including post-op orthopedic trauma, total joints, ORIF fractures, and complex surgeries such as laminectomies and eye procedures. The role involves managing blood products, IV therapies, and assisting with mobility, while adapting to a fluctuating patient ratio that may occasionally reach 1:6. This assignment offers an engaging mix of teaching opportunities and trauma care, all within a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-recognized facility. Expect a schedule of three shifts per week with guaranteed hours, contributing to a team recognized for excellence in patient outcomes.
