Job Description:

This ER Registered Nurse position offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department that handles a diverse patient population from adolescents to geriatrics. You will be responsible for managing high acuity cases in a large, busy ER with approximately 165-175 patients daily. Proficiency in Epic and Pyxis systems is essential, and compliance with required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS is mandatory. Shifts are 12 hours from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week over a 14-week contract. This role requires travelers with at least two years of ER experience and prior travel assignments in a busy ER setting. The environment is demanding but rewarding, with opportunities to sharpen your skills while contributing to critical patient care in an energetic hospital setting.
