Job Description:

Join us as a PCU Registered Nurse on a weekend block schedule, working Friday through Sunday nights in Augusta, Georgia. This 12-week contract offers an engaging role in a fast-paced environment where you'll monitor adult to geriatric patients admitted via direct hospital admissions, emergency visits, or clinics. You'll be responsible for managing intermediate-level patients with diagnoses such as dysrhythmias, CHF, strokes, ACS, and myocardial ischemia, all while utilizing telemetry and self-monitoring tools. The setting emphasizes patient throughput and teamwork, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across 12 beds. Your shift features 12-hour night hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. Expectations include working every other weekend, floating within scope, and being available to work major holidays as needed. This role is perfect for experienced nurses comfortable in a high-energy environment where technical skills and critical thinking are essential.
