Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse position places you directly in the heart of advanced cardiovascular critical care, working in a dedicated 15-bed unit specialized for adult and geriatric patients. You'll respond to complex diagnoses such as cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and heart failure, managing advanced therapy procedures like Impella and IABP support devices. The rotating 12-hour shifts—both day and night—allow for a balanced schedule, including every other weekend coverage. If you’re experienced with IABP and Impella, or eager to step into a fast-paced ICU environment with strong skills, this assignment offers a chance to sharpen your expertise in high-acuity cardiac care without the monotony. The environment challenges your clinical judgment, and your work will often involve bedside procedures like Swan-Ganz catheter insertions, chest tube placements, and targeted temperature management—ensuring you stay engaged with hands-on, high-stakes patient support.
