Job Description:

This radiology position involves working in a hospital setting with general X-rays, portables, and c-arms across multiple areas including outpatient, ER, ICU, and inpatient floors. Technicians will assist with imaging procedures after hours, such as ER and ICU scans, with occasional involvement in surgeries or late-ending cases. The role offers the opportunity to work independently, often collaborating with CT technologists on patient transfers. The position provides exposure to diverse imaging environments and the chance to use various imaging equipment in a fast-paced hospital atmosphere. The assignment is set for 13 weeks, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, within flexible scheduling options that accommodate requests for time off. The facility expects adherence to dress codes and coordination with department supervisors for orientation.
