Job Description:

Join a spirited cardiology unit in Alexandria, LA, as a registered nurse specializing in cardiac care. This 13-week travel contract involves 12-hour day shifts from 7AM to 7PM, caring for patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, arrhythmias, and PVD. Your duties will include managing cardiac drips, administering medications, and providing comprehensive assessments and education to patients and their families. This assignment offers the chance to work independently within a team, handling both routine and complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Expect to be part of a team that manages high-acuity cases without nitrate therapy but with an emphasis on drip management, all while advancing your skills in cardiac nursing.
