Job Description:

Join our healthcare team as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse on a 16-week night shift contract at a prominent medical center. This role involves providing specialized care to patients with various hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, including lymphoma, leukemia, sickle cell disease, and other non-hemato cancers. You will be managing chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and oncologic emergencies while floating between Med/Surg and Oncology units. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an average commitment of 36 hours per week. While oncology experience is preferred, your Med/Surg expertise will be essential to deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes infection prevention and patient safety protocols. This assignment provides an opportunity to leverage your clinical skills in a specialized setting, with the flexibility of variable weekend needs and no set block schedule.
