Join a hospital-based Medical Surgical, IMCU, or Stepdown unit in Des Moines, Iowa, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour rotating shifts. This role involves direct involvement in patient monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and operating specialized equipment like chest tubes and Airvo. Travelers will work alongside seasoned healthcare professionals in a setting that requires quick thinking and adaptability, especially during holiday periods when coverage is essential. Prior experience in trauma, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics, or progressive care is required, with a preference for those familiar with EPIC EMR and telemetry.
