Job Description:

Join a busy Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at a renowned teaching hospital in Chicago. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with 3 Cath labs, performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including complex cases like Impella, IABP, CTOs, and lead extractions. The role involves moderate sedation, critical case management, and close coordination with a charge RN during high-volume days—usually 5 to 15 cases daily. Candidates should have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, valid BLS, and ACLS certifications. Techs must hold ARRT credentials and have experience with advanced equipment such as Rotoblator and IVUS. The schedule consists of 10-hour daytime shifts from 0700 to 1730, with weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities.
