Job Description:

Join a Level II Trauma Center as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Decatur, Illinois. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), providing critical support in a busy ED with an average daily census of 120 patients and 32 beds. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse patient caseload, including trauma, pediatric emergencies, and complex medical cases. Float within the scope of practice as needed and collaborate with experienced staff in a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking and expert skills. Active Illinois RN license or ETA is required, and candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, and trauma management. Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC are mandatory. Weekend work is required on an as-needed basis.
