Job Description:

Join our surgical team as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in Columbia, SC, for a 13-week contract focused on supporting a busy surgical services department. In this role, you'll work four 10-hour days each week, primarily from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call duties including weekday and weekend shifts spread throughout a six-week cycle. This position involves assisting in a variety of surgical procedures, especially in Orthopedics, Neuro, Ophthalmology, and Robotics cases, offering a hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital setting. You'll be working alongside experienced staff in an acute care hospital environment, ensuring smooth OR operations while adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of general surgery experience, certifications such as BLS and NBSTSA, and a radiation badge. This assignment provides an engaging opportunity to refine your surgical tech skills while exploring the vibrant city of Columbia.
