Job Description:

Join as a Cath Lab Tech in Springfield, Illinois, for a rewarding 13-week contract working in the hospital's diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization labs. Your days will unfold in 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, with the flexibility to choose between four consecutive days or three days plus a weekend, depending on the schedule that suits you best. This role offers a hands-on experience with advanced cardiac procedures such as cardiac stent placements, device closures, and catheterizations, all while operating in a magnet hospital that welcomes first-timers and values dedicated professionals. Expect to handle equipment setup, recognize arrhythmias, and adhere strictly to sterile techniques, all within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment that emphasizes technical excellence. On-call rotations add an element of unpredictability, but you’ll be part of a dedicated call team, ensuring you’re supported while providing crucial services during emergencies. Be prepared to bring at least one year of experience, hold current certifications including ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and RCIS, and be ready to work in a collaborative setting that values procedural expertise and safety.
