Job Description:

This Cardiac Device RN (Electrophysiology) role in La Crosse, WI offers a chance to work closely with cardiac device transmissions, evaluating and interpreting results to support patient care teams. The position requires independently investigating remote device transmissions, triaging urgency levels, and collaborating with cardiology staff during day shifts. You'll be floating across Gundersen Lutheran’s main hospital and the La Crosse Cardiology Clinic, gaining diverse experience in cardiac electrophysiology. Expect to assist with 12-20 patients daily, with a focus on precise documentation in EPIC and efficient communication. This 13-week assignment features consistent 8-hour days, no weekends or holiday coverage, and a weekly guarantee of 40 hours. A playful but professional challenge: you'll become the go-to expert for remote cardiac device troubleshooting during your time in this specialized setting.
