Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse position offers a rewarding opportunity in a 34-bed PCU unit, specializing in step-down care. The role involves working a 12-hour rotating shift, with responsibilities that include managing patient needs in a fast-paced environment that employs Meditech EMR. Familiarity with AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH certifications is required, along with a Kentucky or compact license. Prospective travelers should be comfortable with floating within their scope of practice and be available to work every other weekend. Please note, the schedule operates on a 36/48-hour pay period unless otherwise specified. This assignment is ideal for nurses residing at least 75 miles from the facility and seeking a temporary, engaging assignment outside of local areas. Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and the start date is flexible based on staffing availability. Candidates must submit signed confirmation within 24 hours of offer and provide a valid driver’s license and ARH coversheet with matching addresses.
