Job Description:

Join our team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Tyler, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac care unit, providing critical support to patients recovering from procedures such as cardiac surgery, stent placements, and pacemaker implants. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with an average weekly commitment of 36 hours. You’ll be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients, managing patient alarms, and ensuring safety within a unit that typically has 1:5-6 patient ratios. The setting includes 36 private rooms, with a focus on patients from young adults to the elderly who require medical-level cardiac care. Prior travel experience and BLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred. This assignment offers a chance to hone your telemetry skills in a supportive environment without the need to reside in certain surrounding counties.
