Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in the renal unit of a hospital located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where you'll work a 12-hour night shift. The focus is on supporting patients with kidney-related conditions such as acute or chronic kidney disease, often requiring dialysis treatments. You will collaborate closely with nephrologists, family practitioners, and hospitalists, providing specialized nursing care in a 36-bed unit that emphasizes teamwork and community engagement. Expect to work every other weekend, with the flexibility to float to other units or hospitals as needed. The role involves performing procedures related to post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, with a thorough focus on patient education and support during their treatment journey. Dress code is solid navy, and parking is available on-site.
