Job Description:

This contract position involves supporting the electrophysiology (EP) lab at a regional hospital, primarily focusing on data collection and assisting with advanced cardiac procedures. The role requires working in a 17-staff team on 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, with occasional late stays. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation of procedures such as ablations, device implants, and watchman interventions, using state-of-the-art equipment including X-ray, PACS, and arrhythmia mapping tools. Attention to detail and flexibility are crucial, as you'll need to adapt to the fast-paced environment and specific unit protocols. Ideal candidates will have experience in EP labs, hold ACLS/BLS certifications, and possess additional credentials like RCES or RCIS for preferred consideration. The setting offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team committed to specialized cardiac procedures in a facility with a well-organized EMR system using Cerner.
