Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a 25-bed critical access hospital in Madisonville, TX, for a 12-week contract. In this role, you'll evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients in skilled nursing, outpatient, and inpatient settings, including wound care, orthopedics, and neurorehabilitation. The hospital specializes in treating patients with an average stay of 14 days, offering a dynamic environment where your skills directly impact patient recovery and functional outcomes. Day-to-day, you'll perform evaluations, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team—all while floating between different care areas as needed. Remember, call outs are discouraged, so reliable staffing is key. This assignment provides a great opportunity for both experienced therapists and new graduates with at least six months of relevant experience to shine.
