Job Description:

Join a reputable neuro medical-surgical unit as a travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care in a 54-bed neuroscience unit that handles stroke, spine surgeries, brain tumors, and head injuries. Your expertise in neuro trauma, heparin drip titration, and telemetry monitoring will be essential. Engage in detailed patient assessments, troubleshoot high-flow oxygen systems when necessary, and collaborate with charge nurses and specialized tech staff. It's a hands-on opportunity to hone your neuro skills in a fast-paced environment with some weekend and holiday rotations, all while enjoying a supportive team and a chance to experience the city’s vibrant culture.
