Job Description:

This MedSurg RN contract offers a chance to work during 12-hour night shifts on a 25-bed unit, caring for geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF and COPD. You'll provide skilled nursing care, perform charting using Epic EMR, and handle medication dispersion with Pyxis. The role requires a minimum of two years' experience in ICU and ER settings, with strong charting skills and the ability to float to the Emergency Department within your competency. You’ll work approximately 36 hours weekly for 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours and optional on-call duties during low census periods. The shift runs from 7 PM to 7 AM, and team members can wear any colored scrubs. This assignment is perfect for those ready to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, with a focus on geriatric patient care.
