Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ICU setting in Nashville, Tennessee, for a 16-week travel contract where you'll work 12-hour days. This role involves reading telemetry strips, managing arrhythmias, and handling moderate sedation and heparin distribution—so your prior ICU experience and proficiency with telemetry are essential. You'll need to be flexible with shift coverage, including working weekends and major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. The position emphasizes reliability and transparency, with floating within your scope of practice, and may include charge or preceptor responsibilities. Prior travel experience is required, along with certifications like BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI or MAB completed before start. Testings on arrhythmia recognition and sedation procedures will occur prior to orientation, and failure to pass may lead to contract cancellation. The commitment includes 36 hours weekly, at an estimated gross of $1,872.71, for a total of 16 weeks.
