Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract calls for an experienced Emergency Department RN ready to dive into fast-paced trauma care in Iron Mountain, MI. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, providing critical support in a department with 14 beds and two trauma bays. The role involves managing variable patient loads—up to 60 patients daily—and responding to high-acuity cases such as traumas, STEMI, strokes, and MVAs. Your expertise with common drips, triage procedures, and patient flow will be essential. You’ll collaborate with in-house physicians, mid-levels, and a team of charge RNs, nurse aides, paramedics, and RTs, all while keeping pace with the department’s busy rhythms. This role offers a chance to sharpen your ED skills, handle diverse cases, and contribute to a team with a robust support structure, all in a setting that values your quick thinking and resilience.
