Job Description:

This ER RN role offers a chance to work in a busy community hospital emergency department with a 26-bed trauma area and a dedicated fast track zone. You will be boarding patients, managing trauma bays, and triaging incoming patients in a setting where every third weekend shift is required. Expect to float to medical-surgical and critical care units when needed, utilizing your recent ER experience in CAH or community hospital environments. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts and a six-week self-scheduling period, with a focus on punctuality and dedication to the contract. Your daily work will involve performing assessments, interpreting EKGs, administering moderate sedation, and working alongside physicians, mid-level providers, RT staff, and security personnel. Prior experience with Cerner EMR and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required to navigate this fast-paced, demanding role.
