Job Description:

Join a challenging and rewarding 13-week travel opportunity as a registered nurse in a busy medical-surgical unit in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves rotating 12-hour day shifts, providing direct patient care for individuals with respiratory issues, infections, wounds, diabetes, GI conditions, drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms, and suicidal ideation. You'll be expected to manage titratable drips such as insulin and heparin, utilize high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and CPaP equipment, and work collaboratively with RTs and tech staff. The unit maintains nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-6 at night, with support from nurse aides and a always-available charge nurse. Experience in acute care and BLS certification are required. This assignment offers an engaging environment to sharpen your skills, with scheduled self-shifts and a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week.
