Job Description:

Join our team as a Stepdown Cardiac Neuro nurse on a 13-week night shift contract at a prominent hospital in Evansville, Indiana. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM, providing critical care to post-procedure cardiac patients, including those with cath/stent procedures, pacers, ICDs, and neuro conditions such as CVAs and seizures. This role offers a unique chance to refine skills in tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, titrate cardiac drips, and perform neuro assessments in a fast-paced setting. Expect to float within your skillset between two nearby campuses, and collaborate with experienced staff in a well-staffed unit. This assignment is ideal for experienced Stepdown nurses eager to expand their expertise in a teaching hospital environment, with a focus on critical thinking and independent judgment.
