Job Description:

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech in Columbia, South Carolina, for a 13-week contract that offers an engaging and hands-on experience in a busy cardiovascular catheterization laboratory. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary interventions, collaborating closely with physicians and other team members to ensure smooth lab operations. Your days will be structured around 4x10 hour shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to stay until procedures are completed. With a caseload of around 20 cases daily and 4 to 5 labs per day, you'll have the opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced setting, directly contributing to patient diagnoses and treatment plans. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and you must hold current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS, along with an active South Carolina license and radiation badge. Expect a role that combines technical skill with the occasional on-call weekend, evening shifts, and holiday coverage, adding some variety to your schedule in this critical environment.
