Job Description:

Join a respected Level II Trauma Center in Decatur, Illinois, as a Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week night shift contract. This role offers the opportunity to work primarily during overnight hours (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM), providing routine respiratory care to a diverse patient population from neonatal to geriatric. You'll assist with bronchoscopies, manage ventilators like Drager V500 and V60 Bipaps, and respond to emergency codes in a setting that supports neonatal and pediatric care during RSV season. This assignment is unique for its mix of adult critical care, pediatric procedures, and occasional transfers, with a focus on high-quality respiratory management and procedural support. Candidates with at least 2 years’ experience, active Illinois license, and all required certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT) are encouraged to apply.
