Job Description:

Join a dedicated neuro and neuro-surgical unit at Deaconess IL Medical Center, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts for an initial 13-week contract. This role is perfect for experienced Medical Surgical/Tele RN professionals with a strong background in neuro patient assessments, neuro-specific interventions, and charting in EPIC. Expect to manage a diverse patient population including CVAs, post-surgical patients, and overflow medical cases, all within a compact 22-bed unit. The position offers a guaranteed 36 hours weekly, with every other weekend and holiday off. Float coverage may be required, and you must hold an active Illinois RN license, along with current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
