Job Description:

Join a specialized Labor & Delivery/Postpartum unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll be providing dedicated care in a 25-bed unit that includes labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, along with operating rooms and recovery rooms. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assisting mothers through active labor, managing postpartum recovery, and caring for newborns, all within a busy but rewarding environment that values your expertise in labor and postpartum nursing. Expect to participate in a team that handles a census of 15-25 mothers and babies daily. This assignment offers a unique chance to hone your skills in a collaborative setting while working with EPIC electronic health records and adhering to Massachusetts licensing standards. Please note, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and specific certifications such as BLS, NRP, and EFM are required. AHA ACLS is preferred but not mandatory.
