Job Description:

This travel assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to work within an orthopedic and medical/surgical unit, providing comprehensive patient care during 12-hour day shifts. You will perform all essential duties from initial patient assessments to developing and modifying care plans based on ongoing evaluations. Your responsibilities include educating patients on wound care, mobility, and self-care, as well as collaborating closely with physicians and surgeons. Focused on safety and teamwork, this role allows you to showcase your clinical expertise while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting. The unique aspect of this assignment lies in managing surgical traction devices, wound appliances, and participating in multidisciplinary discussions to optimize patient recovery.
