Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse role offers a 26-week contract working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 12-hour shift structure. You’ll provide vital support on the Med/Surg units, managing a varied caseload that may include orthopedics, neurovascular conditions, cardiopulmonary issues, and surgical patients such as GI, urology, hysterectomy, and mastectomy cases. Expect to float to different units roughly once a week, working alongside a team of RNs, LPNs, and technicians. The position emphasizes collaboration across diverse staff and flexibility with patient ratios, which may range from 1:5-6 up to 7-8, with support from assigned LPNs. The role requires availability for the first two weeks of orientation, with night shifts totaling 36 hours per week, and a gross weekly pay of approximately $1,983.61.
