Job Description:

Join a reputable facility in Shelby, NC, as a Travel RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a 32-bed unit with a variety of patient diagnoses including CHF, dysrhythmias, stroke, abdominal illnesses, and respiratory issues. Expect to manage patients requiring careful cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, and central lines, with most RN patient ratios around 1:4. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing a consistent and predictable schedule. You'll collaborate closely with supportive team members like CNAs, charge nurses, and hospitalists, all within a family-oriented unit that values a collaborative environment. This assignment provides hands-on experience with EMR systems like EPIC, and essential skills such as cardiac rhythm interpretation and wound care are actively utilized. Floating across regional facilities is required, offering variety and new challenges within your scope of practice.
