Job Description:

This PICU Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a mixed-acuity, 24-bed pediatric intensive care unit at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. As a night-shift RN (19:00 - 07:30), you will be responsible for providing direct patient support, performing tasks such as turns, repositioning, bathing, assisting with patient transport, ambulation, meal assistance, and medication administration within your training and comfort zone. You will also be a Rover nurse, supporting various inpatient units including NICU, Labor and Delivery, and adult acute care as needed. This assignment provides the chance to work across different acuity levels, from PICU to acute care, engaging in a variety of patient care activities that keep your skills sharp and your day interesting. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to quality pediatric care in a leading medical center known for advanced research and education.
