Job Description:

Join Arkansas Children's Hospital as a PICU nurse on a 13-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts. This role places you in a premier trauma 1, teaching hospital setting with a specialized pediatric intensive care focus. You'll be responsible for managing critically ill children with diagnoses ranging from respiratory distress and ECMO support to post-trauma care. Expect to float within the ICU cluster, including PICU, IMCU, and Burn ICU, providing a diverse and fast-paced experience. This assignment is ideal for nurses with at least two years of PICU experience and prior travel stints, who thrive in a collaborative environment with residents, fellows, and attending physicians. You’ll spend your shifts closely monitoring patients, utilizing EPIC EMR, and adhering to the hospital's dress code. Orientation includes 2-3 days of specialty training, ensuring you're fully prepared for this impactful role.
