Job Description:

Join a surgical technologist team at a rural community hospital in Winona, Minnesota, where you'll scrub for a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, eye procedures, and OB/GYN. This 13-week contract offers an engaging mix of operations, with an average of 5-25 cases per day. You'll transition seamlessly between scrubbing and assisting, supporting surgeons in a busy, fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes flexibility, as you'll participate in late stays, on-call rotations, and occasional holiday shifts. This assignment is a great fit for experienced CSTs with a minimum of three years' experience, especially those familiar with total joints and plastics in similar-sized facilities. Your expertise in sterile technique, familiarity with trauma Level 3 & 4 hospitals, and ability to adapt to diverse surgical cases will shine here. The shift spans 8 hours daily, maintaining a consistent schedule within the OR, with additional call times to contribute to patient care beyond scheduled hours.
