Job Description:

Join a well-respected PT inpatient rehabilitation team at a community-based hospital in Rio Rancho, NM, for a rewarding 13-week assignment. In this role, you'll provide therapy services focused on acute care and inpatient rehab cases, working meals with adults, adolescents, and geriatrics. Expect to evaluate and treat conditions such as total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, CVA, traumatic injuries, and respiratory or infectious illnesses. The schedule offers 8-hour days, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with some weekend shifts required to keep the department thriving. You'll be expected to deliver approximately 40 hours of therapy each week, with a chance to make a real impact on patient recovery during a bustling short-term assignment. The setting is a Level III trauma center with a Level I teaching status, and the facility promotes a collaborative environment where your skills will be put to good use, ensuring patients regain function and independence.
