Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Springfield, Illinois, for a 13-week assignment that offers a chance to work in a Level I trauma center with a diverse caseload. You will be caring for patients undergoing surgeries across multiple service lines, excluding cardiology, with a focus on trauma, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, and transplant procedures. The typical shift is four 10-hour days from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities once per week. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of OR experience, including trauma cases, and active IL licensure or application in process. The position features guaranteed hours within the contract and the opportunity to handle advanced procedures like laparoscopic bariatric surgeries, craniotomies, and microvascular flaps.
