Job Description:

Join a 19-week contract as a Registered Nurse in a busy ICU setting within a community hospital located in Yakima, Washington. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, with a focus on managing patients with conditions such as CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, and post-cath care. Your expertise with above/below patient types, chest tubes, wound vacs, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths, and drips like diltiazem and heparin will be vital. The hospital emphasizes clinical independence, providing an engaging environment for experienced travelers. Expect to work with EPIC EMR, floating between TELE, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units, with every other weekend rotation. This assignment offers a mix of challenging cases and the opportunity to refine your ICU skills in a supportive setting.
