Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department located in a modern medical facility. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with 80 treatment spaces, providing care in a team that is experienced, collaborative, and supportive. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality emergency services, including specialized geriatric emergency care as this hospital's first ACEP-accredited geriatric ED. The shift is a 12-hour overnight rotation, 3PM to 3AM or 7PM to 7AM, with a typical workload of 36 hours per week. Expect to work at least one weekend shift per contracted week or two every other weekend, along with at least one holiday during the assignment. The schedule can be requested as a rotating or fixed block, with optional on-call hours averaging 2 hours per week. Charting is done in EPIC, and candidates must have recent U.S. work experience, an active NY RN license, and current NIH AHA BLS certification. The contract duration is 16 weeks, and applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
