Job Description:

Join the surgical team at a busy hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, as a surgical technologist on a 13-week contract. This role involves scrub duties in the operating room, supporting procedures such as Total Joints, Orthopedics Spine, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmology (including vitrectomy), and robotics. Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with call commitments approximately 3 to 4 times per 8-week period, covering nights, weekends, and holidays. The position offers flexibility with a rotating day off, free parking, and a work schedule averaging 36 hours per week. No certification is required, but current OR experience and familiarity with the specified procedures are essential, along with CPR certification.
