Job Description:

Join an esteemed acute care hospital in Orange, California as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves working the overnight 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, providing essential nursing support in a busy labor and delivery unit. You'll be responsible for circulating and performing sterile vaginal exams, utilizing your experience from large hospital settings. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to be part of a MAGNET-accredited facility with 426 beds, where you can directly contribute to patient support during one of the most critical moments—birth. Strict requirements include a minimum of 2 years of recent experience, valid certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate), and the ability to work independently, especially during weekends when scheduling needs may extend. This position does not accept first-time travelers or travel pairs, emphasizing the need for seasoned professionals ready to hit the ground running.
